Rain Barrel Fun!

We have painted all kinds of things this year in the RVMS ArtRoom! We care currently painting 4 different rain barrels for the NOW (Northern Olentangy Watershed) Festival June 20th! 

The barrels will be raffled off on the 20th in Mingo Park during the festival. 

We are STILL working hard in the RVMS ArtRoom!

Occasionally on Friday, we spend a few minutes drawing a topic from Illustration Friday 

Then we spend a few minutes sharing art work. It is interesting to see many different solutions to the same prompt.

I have been impressed with students' willingness to share their art work and why they chose to complete the project in that way!

Now that Mother's Day has passed, I can share the colorful flower pottery that the 6th grade completed!

 This was the first time that students had worked with clay and a ceramics project, 

they turned out beautiful! And I hope all of the recipients enjoyed them!
